Referrals into all community mental health social work services are through the person’s GP. The person should be encouraged to visit their GP and request an appropriate referral is made.

For anyone living in Southampton, the Lighthouse is an informal, non-judgemental, out-of-hours mental health service for anyone over the age of 18 who requires short-term support with their mental health.

Adults Safe Haven (Mind)

Open 365 days a year between 6pm and 10pm, the Safe Haven is open for face to face mental health support at the Wellbeing Hub in Leigh Park. A team of Crisis workers, Mental Health Practitioners and drug and alcohol support workers, help provide support and advice to people experiencing a mental health crisis.
